Yes. Coatings vary drastically, but this has a very high percentage (once cured) of SiO2 with carbon residues. This product contains, polysilazanes, solvents, and additives which are thermo-setting resins at room temperture. (ie do not require a UV light)

Maintenance is exactly the same as a non-coated car, however, abrasives will remove the coating. In other words, perform a healthy wash (when needed) with AMMO Foam or favorite car soap, dry with Hydrate, and use Reflex Pro Top Coat as often as you feel is required. The more layers of protetection (Reflex Top Coat, Skin, Creme, etc...) the more protected the "base layer" of Reflex V will be.

Depends on humidity and ambient temps, but 1 to 3 minutes is the average flash time. The product will sweat and bead on the surface when ready for the leveling buff off. In a hot humid environment, buff off directly after application. A full bottle is advised for one application and minimum curing time of 12 hours in a dry environment. Reflex V may take up to a week to fully set, do not wash for 5 days.

Thoroughly wash the paint and remove the contaminants with clay (if necessary). Polish to refine the finish if necessary as Reflex V will have extra depth and shine over "leveled" paint. Light 50:50 ISO wipes (spray on towel first) can be helpful if paint was recently waxed. Reflex V is best applied to a completely clean protection free paint surface. Apply out of direct sunlight and paint should be cool to the touch.

Yes, other protectants can be layered once Reflex V has fully cured (at least a few weeks). Apply protectants after a wash and avoid adding too many layers of protection at one time. The top layer (most upper surface) will give the paint its water repellant characteristics. Hydrophobic or Hydrophilic. Reflex V can be maintained regularly with Reflex Top Coat and wax/sealant layers can be added routinely for additional protection.

Yes but matte finish may have a faster flash time so a small test area is advised. Begin the leveling buff off process immediately after panel coverage. Reflex V will bring more depth or "richness" to the paint color but it will not be "shiny" afterwards. I highly recommend it on matte paint or vinyl as it is really the only type of protection for those areas without causing a deep shine (therefore defeating the matte finish).
