The perfect automotive paint sealer with cleaning protection.

I’ve always thought of my car’s paint like skin. It needs to be nurtured like skin, breathe and flex like skin, and be protected from the sun just like our body’s skin. Figure out why I’ve named it AMMO SKIN yet? This viscous lotion will fill in the pores of your paint with good stuff, helping to block harmful UV rays and harsh road contaminants to ensure a long-lasting, beautiful finish. AMMO SKIN can be used every 3-6 months to help maintain your paint’s protection. The new SKIN formula now performs as a cleaner sealant. Safely remove micro-scratches, swirls, haze, bug residue, tar, and contaminants while adding long-lasting sealant protection. Skin can be applied by hand or with the AMMO Rupes Polisher + Wafl Finishing Pad. Rejuvenates gloss paint, coatings, and PPF surfaces. Do not use on Matte or Satin finishes.

  • 3-6 month sealant protection
  • New formula cleans and removes light swirls and haze
  • Offers layerable long lasting UV protection
  • Maintains a warm glossy water beading finish
  • Made in the USA

How do I use AMMO Skin Defense Seal

1. Paint must be clean, dry, and cool. Skin is optimized for gloss clear coat or single stage paint. Avoid applying to matte or satin finishes.

2. Apply out of direct sunlight, one panel at a time.

3. After 1-3 minutes, remove with a microfiber towel and start the next panel.

4. Skin can also be applied with DA Polisher and Wafl Finishing Pad. Prime the pad with Skin and add a few dots of Skin per panel. Apply to the panel evenly on low speed with overlapping passes. Buff off thoroughly.

AMMO Skin Defense Seal FAQ

Q: How is Skin different from a wax or ceramic coating?

A: Skin is a cleaner sealant that contains ultra-light abrasives to safely refine the paint finish while leaving behind a durable protectant. Carnauba wax is typically softer and doesn't "last" as long, whereas ceramics tend to last much longer but are more "difficult" to use. Skin is in between Wax and Ceramic with respect to longevity and ease of use. Skin is effective for 4-6 months of protection if maintained correctly. This is a non-permanent layer of protection (unlike Reflex Pro) that is very popular for longer-term DIY paint protection.

Q: How often should I apply Skin to protect my vehicle?

A: 4 to 6 months dependant on how often the vehicle is driven and how the paint is maintained in between reapplications.

Q: Can I apply Skin over an existing coating?

A: Yes, Skin can be applied by hand one panel at a time over an existing coating layer.

Q: How do I maintain Skin once it's applied?

A: Wash with clean MF towels and AMMO Foam. Dry with Hydrate. This will ensure the longevity of the protection.

Q: Can I apply more than one layer of Skin?

A: Apply and buff off SKIN, then allow 3 hours (overnight is best) then reapply a thin 2nd layer of SKIN over the existing.
