How do I use AMMO REFLEX PRO II ENAMEL COAT

1. Wear latex gloves, eye protection, mask, and work in a well-ventilated area.

2. Prior to first coat application, wash and clay the paint if needed.

3. If needed, use isopropyl alcohol mixed 50-50 with water or an automotive grade wax and silicone remover to decontaminate surface.

4. Prime microfiber applicator and apply in overlapping motions in 2x2 sections. Paint should be cool to the touch and out of direct sunlight.

5. Allow 2 minutes dwell time (wait for the rainbow to appear) in ideal low-humidity conditions. In a humid environment or over PPF, buff off directly after application.

6. Lightly remove excess with clean microfiber towels. Use first towel to level + lift residue and second towel for final wipe.

7. Use at least 1/2 bottle per application.

8. Can apply two coats, with 30 minute cure time in between.

9. Allow 8 hours cure time in warm weather, 16 hours in cold. No water for 6 hours (min) after application. No washing for 5 days.

AMMO REFLEX PRO II ENAMEL COAT FAQ

Q: Is Reflex Pro II a Ceramic Coating?

A: Yes. Coatings vary drastically, but this has a very high percentage (once cured) of SiO2 with carbon residues. This product contains, polysilazanes, solvents, and additives which are thermo-setting resins at room temperture. (ie do not require a UV light)

Q: How do I maintain Reflex Pro II?

A: Maintenance is exactly the same as a non-coated car, however, abrasives will remove the coating. In other words, perform a healthy wash (when needed) with AMMO Foam or favorite car soap, dry with Hydrate, and use Reflex Pro Top Coat as often as you feel is required. The more layers of protetection (Skin, Reflex Pro Top Coat, Blush, etc...) the more protected the "base layer" of Reflex Pro II will be.

Q: How long does Reflex Pro II take to cure?

A: Depends on humidity and ambient temps, but 30 secs to 2 minutes is the average flash time. In a hot humid environment, buff off directly after application. Half a bottle is advised for one application and minimum curing time of 6 hours in a dry environment. Two coats can be applied with 30 minute cure time in between. Reflex Pro II may take up to a week to fully set, do not wash for 5 days.

Q: How do I prep the paint before applying Reflex Pro II?

A: Wash the paint, remove the contaminants with clay (if necessary), compound and polishing (if necessary) is always the best option as the Reflex II will have extra depth and shine over "leveled" paint. Light ISO wipes (spray on towel first) can be helpful if paint was recently waxed. You can layer Reflex Pro II over "old" layers of Reflex Pro without removing the old layer. Apply out of direct sunlight and paint should be cool to the touch.

Q: Can I use other paint care products (wax, sealant, spray wax) after Reflex Pro II is applied?

A: Yes. However, the top layer (most upper surface) will give the paint its water characteristics. Hydrophobic or Hydrophilic. I prefer to layer AMMO SKIN over it every few months as its "jacket" or sacrificial layer. I also use Reflex Pro Top Coat after every wash.

Q: Is Reflex Pro II safe on matte paint or vinyl wraps?

A: Yes. It will bring more depth or "richness" to the color but it will not be "shiny" afterwards. I highly recommend it on matte paint or vinyl as it is really the only type of protection for those areas without causing a deep shine (therefore defeating the matte finish).

Loved how I had ZERO issues applying this coating to a vehicle. Definitely need to use 2 towels when buffing off and have plenty of them on hand. Great quality!

Marine Application

Working my way down my toys and finally made it to my boat. Yes, I'm a little OCD when it comes to my stuff. I've used AMMO on my cars and truck for several years now. AMMO ceramic coating offers a protective shine that lasts for at least 2-3 years in the SoFlo sun and salt air environment. No more waxing every other month. :). 5 stars!!

Easy to use and great coverage

My wife and I just purchase a new car and I wanted to add some extra protection to the paint. I've been following a car dealing that give tips on what to avoid when buying a car and one of the things he mentioned is when the dealership offers to apply a ceramic coating. In his opion, you are better off doing it yourself and save the extra money.

I been using Ammo products for years but I never tried the AMMO REFLEX PRO II ENAMEL COAT. We decided to buy one of the cars the dealership used as a loaner car to save money. It was in great condition with just a few swirl marks on the paint so I decided to touch up the paint with AMMO WÄFL FINISHING PAD, AMMO X-FOLIATE POLISHING FLUID and then the AMMO Reflex Pro II Enamel Coat.

I have to say the paint looked good after I polished it but it really popped once I put on the AMMO Reflex Pro II Enamel Coat.
The application process was super easy and you can feel and see the difference when you start to buff the product off.

The direction say to wait 6 days before washing and it's been raining on and off for a couple of days. Needless to say my wifes car got pretty dirty so on the 7th day when it was sunney I decided to wash it. I gave it a quick rinse and I started clearning the inside of the car. I woman walked by and gave me a complment on how nice the car looked. I didn't think much of it but then a couple was walking buy with their kids and I heard the dad tell the kids don't touch the car and get it dirty. Dirty?, I haven't even washed it yet...
So I stopped what I was doing and took a step back and just by doing a quick rinse the car looked clean and shiney.

Larry for making great products that anyone can use.

Amazing!!!!!

I just can't get over the results. Insane shine and amazing deep wet color. I wish I could post a pic:)
Was super easy to apply. Used a slightly bigger foam applicator about half way through and that speeded up the application. Definitely do two layers. The second layer wapplied so easily. Honestly, I don't know why I waited so long to do this.
